Message from Controller

The Division of Accounting and Disbursements is comprised of a team of talented and highly committed professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and fulfilling our fiduciary responsibility to ensure that public funds for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) are properly disbursed, accounted for, and reported.

The Accounting & Disbursements Division team is focused on supporting the District’s goal of student achievement as we continue to strengthen professional skills and pursue information technology advancements that ensure timely and effective financial management and controls while meeting customer expectations.  Working proactively with focus groups and listening to concerns raised at principal and local district meetings helps to ensure the priorities of the schools are being recognized in our daily operation.  Capacity development, diversity, ethics, and creating a positive work environment are the norms of our Division.

We thank the public, students, parents, teachers, the community, and other LAUSD divisions in our efforts to provide a quality service for public education and assist all students to achieve their maximum potential.
